Oracle Developer Relations serves one of Oracle’s most strategic audiences: developers who drive adoption from the ground up. But while DevRel played a critical role in education and community building, it lacked a brand identity that resonated with modern builders. The existing presence was missing an opportunity to shift outdated perceptions and connect with the next generation of developers in a way that felt authentic to how they think and work.
We created a complete visual identity system rooted in the language of code itself. Built from familiar symbols, data textures, and a bold, future-facing palette, the brand feels native to developers rather than marketed at them. By transforming brackets, operators, and generative patterns into a scalable design system, we positioned DevRel as modern, credible, and community-driven — a brand built with code, for the people who use it to build what’s next.
Oracle DevCon

The DevRel identity extended into Oracle DevCon as a bold, immersive event system. Core coding symbols became graphic anchors, while data-inspired textures evolved into dynamic streaks that conveyed speed, collaboration, and innovation. What began as a brand language scaled seamlessly across posters, social, and environmental design.
At DevCon, the system embodied the energy of the developer community. Flexible yet cohesive, it reinforced DevRel’s modern, future-facing positioning — a place where builders come together to code what’s next.
