After nearly 30 years rooted in Portland’s coffee culture, Portland Coffee Roasters set out to bring their specialty cold brew to a wider audience. They asked Food Court Creative to help create a bold, approachable identity that would stand out on crowded shelves and fuel their next chapter.
We started with the cans themselves. Using playful typography and bold yellow-and-black palettes, we gave their Original and Nitro SKUs distinct personalities while keeping them united as a family. Flavor notes like balanced, smooth, creamy, and juicy were paired with callouts like No Sugar, 100% Arabica, and 270mg caffeine—giving coffee lovers the quick hits they needed.
The result? Packaging that feels as refreshing as what’s inside the can.
Merch
From mugs to bucket hats, we designed a merch line that extends the Cold Brew Crew identity beyond the can. Each piece doubles as a wearable expression of the brand’s Portland roots and with a modern twist.
