As plant-based eating moved further into the mainstream, Tofurky saw an opportunity to win over flexitarians who weren’t shopping the traditional plant-based set. To compete directly with conventional deli meat, Next Gen Deli needed packaging that felt just as craveable, confident, and meat-forward as the products sitting beside it.
We redesigned the SKU system to lead with flavor and appetite appeal. Bold color blocking differentiates each variety at a glance, while stacked, over-the-top sandwich photography and a generous product window put the slices front and center. The hierarchy shifts the focus from “plant-based” to taste first, creating a packaging system built to stand shoulder to shoulder with real meat.

As plant-based proteins became more competitive, Tofurky’s Chick’n line needed to work harder on shelf. The existing packaging leaned functional, but it was missing the craveability that drives weeknight dinner decisions.
We redesigned the system to lead with vibrant recipe photography that brings each flavor to life. Bold color blocking differentiates SKUs, while plated dishes showcase texture, ingredients, and real meal possibilities. The result is a packaging refresh that builds appetite appeal first and positions Chick’n as a go-to centerpiece, not just a substitute.
Tofurky Steak Bites

As Tofurky expanded beyond traditional formats, Steak Bites marked a bold new entry into the category. As a brand new product, it needed to introduce itself clearly on shelf while signaling serious flavor and protein power.
We built the packaging system around vibrant color blocking, strong protein callouts, and craveable recipe photography that shows the bites in real, bowl-forward meals. The result is a confident debut that feels substantial, satisfying, and ready to compete with conventional meat offerings from day one.
